Hailing from Ningarhar Khalid Amiri holds a Master Degree in Political Science from the University of Peshawar. He is an Afghan Refugee Rights Activist, a columnist and a Youth Trainer .
He has worked as journalist & news anchor with Khyber News Television. Khalid also served at the Afghanistan Embassy Islamabad as a Media & Cultural Officer. He was the first Afghan to be elected to the National Youth Parliament of Pakistan. He has participated as a speaker in many Panel discussions nationally & internationally.
